If your happiness in life is excessively dependent on the decisions of others, I promise, you will live a miserable life.  As much as I would love to control the outcome of things, most things in life involve other people making certain decisions (that affect you).  You can suggest, influence, and sometimes beg, but you can’t control what other people do.  You can only control your response…to what they do
